Where the ocean
becomes a classroom.

Welcome to SurfSquare — a committed non-governmental organization founded in Noonu Lhohi in 2002. We empower island communities through surfing, education, advocacy and sustainable practices.

Our Mission

Riding the wave of change in the Maldives.

At SurfSquare, we aim to empower local Maldivian communities through education, advocacy and sustainable practices — anchored on our home island of N. Lhohi and reaching across the atolls.

We envision a vibrant community where every individual has the opportunity to contribute to a sustainable future, balancing economic growth with environmental stewardship.
